Attractions

This is Viking country, but already way back, there was a resident population. The area is one of the first in Sweden that was inhabited and early this was a rich landscape with its fertile soil and good access to fish.

Besides the beaches, the nature reserve and the rich bird life, there are ancient remains that extend back to the Stone Age. But also exciting architecture where Josef Frank is one of the more famous architects.
